School ID Badge Protocol

Per the Woodbridge Township Board of Education, ALL volunteers, (including all Field Day volunteers,) are required to get a background check every year and wear Board Issued ID Badges at All times when doing any school volunteer activities IN/ON school property or that involves PS27 children/is a school/PTO event.
Volunteers can get these badges at 428 School Street Woodbridge, NJ 08863. You can get badges any weekday without an appointment from 9am - 3pm.

Communication Protocol

All Emails for Mr. Hugelmeyer, Teachers, etc., pertaining to PTO events are directed to him/them via the Executive Board. Should a chair have questions or he to the chair, they will be emailed to/through an Executive Member only via pennave27pto@gmail.com. (Per Mr. Hugelmeyer).
Chairs are responsible for emailing vendors for all of their events.
Chairs must also CC the Executive Board at pennave27vp@gmail.com (for Vice President regarding fundraising) OR pennave27pto@gmail.com (regarding all other PTO needs.)
Chairs must keep Executive Board apprised of all happenings immediately as they come.

Flyers & Copying Procedure

All fundraising, chair and event information as well as all flyers, electronic notices, letters and public/school related posts must be sent to our Vice President(s) at pennave27vp@gmail.com
VP will review it and request edits prior to sending to Mr. Hugelmeyer for final approval.
Once approval has been given: Please indicate if/when flyers need to be emailed as well as what dates flyer need to be copied/placed into teacher cubbies to go home to students by. Ms. Connie who will take care of copies, etc.
If you are making copies at home: Flyer procedure is that every teacher/class gets the student count plus 2. Once those copies are completed make 20 additional copies to be placed in the other non-teacher cubbies: Principal's bin, secretarial bin (2), RN, Janitors (2), Gym, Ms Turant's bin, Paraprofessional's (2), etc. The empty bin copies total 20.

Parent Teacher Organization
